Release Date

Yes, I finally have a release date for Extermination. I'm currently finishing up the last chapter, and I'm setting aside another three weeks for editing and proofreading. So you can expect the book to be available on Amazon on November 8th.

For those of you who've been wanting another teaser, it will be up tomorrow.

  1. I don't know whether to be thankful for finally having a definitive answer or be frustrated I need to wait 20 more days. Either way your books are awesome and hopefully the teaser will tide me over

  3. Any way we can get an early access copy?

  4. Since I release a new book as soon as it's finished an early access program wouldn't make much sense.

  5. yeessss!! I was hoping for it to be sooner but I will live.
on the other hand, please tell me it's a 2000 pages book, pretty please? :)

  6. Haha! If each page has ten words that would be easy! Just cuase it has 2000 pages doesn't mean it will be long... But i agree with the sentiment. But some books are less than three hundred pages and they can take forever to read when each page has way more words than normal (slightly bigger page, smaller print, lines closer together.) it can both nice and annoying, since for each page you finish you feel accomplishment. Lol i just went on a tangent! Haha, anyway, it is slightly similar to the concept of having shorter chapters. Though i don't mind long chapter. For digital books it is nice because i can change how long it will take me to finish a "page" by changing the print. Does anyone else know what i'm talking about? Its psychological... And fulfillment. Haha, fulfillment was the word i was looking for.

  7. How long is this book? Is more like Fimbulwinter or longer like Black Coven?

  8. I'd hope it was longer than black coven with a greater word count.

  11. Really enjoying your books. Particularly the lewd portions.

Just a small note - his use of magic sometimes seems very inconsistent:

Most of Daniel's magic is powered by controlled fusion of that amulet he is wearing, on the premise of direct matter to energy/mana conversion being a good power source... yet he sometimes creates matter out of nothing, purely through magic.

Most of the stuff he does is either described as, or implied to be moving/reshaping existing matter, but there is also scenes like in chapter 3 of Black Coven - he takes a granite rod and "makes it grow" - presumably doing direct mana to matter conversion because the rod is not in touch with anything but air and water at that point. And in the paragraphs describing that feat of magic, it's explicitly pointed that this feat is powered by conversion of the small stone disk into mana.

  12. I think that whenever he makes rock for his various projects appear out of thin air he is doing the "conjuring" described a few times. From what is implied he is taking natural rock that is part of the earth and making it appear where he needs it to. The matter to mana converter simply powers the conjuring. At least that is my impression.

    1. i see. I always thought the word conjure meant to materialize something out of nowhere, but if it's meant to similar to teleportation, than never mind,

    2. It's more akin to calling something up. From somewhere else, or something else (Energy maybe). Depending on who you ask or whose practicing. Cerise for example would conjure a demon from somewhere. Daniel would conjure rock or earth. From somewhere esoteric (Mentioned in the books when he wondered about mass). A fireball might be conjured from energy or blah blah. Daniels earth magic shapes and pulls from some out of the way space is the implied reference.

    3. One of the ideas mentioned in Black Coven, when he starts realizing that he can conjure nickel-iron easily, is that nickel-iron is a rather common element in the earth. So the idea appears to be how common is the material he is trying to conjure

  13. Wrapping up another book now and I was a bit heartbroken when a casual search didn't show Extermination as having been released. Glad I looked here! I'll stall a day and grab this instead of starting my next read - forget my honeydo (honeyread?) list.
