Patreon Account

Yes, I've finally broken down and created a Patreon account. I'm not sure how many people would actually be interested in becoming supporters, but I've got a few goodies in store for those who do. Advance looks at future work, draft chapters and concept sketches for stories I'm considering writing, and other material along those lines.

For those of you who don't chose to become supporters, don't worry. This blog will continue to have the same posts as in the past, including an advance look at the first couple of chapters of new books starting 6-8 weeks before publication.

  1. I will gladly donate! I appreciate your work and this is just another way of showing that. Aside from this blog, is there any other way fans can reach you directly? I sent a message to your fanfiction "ShaperV" account since I had no other way to send you a message. I hope you read it! Anyways, I'm excited for the sequel to Black Coven.

  2. Hate to say it, not a big fan of Patreon. More than a few content creators have gotten screwed over the pledge-grab-unpledge tricks people use on there. And the content creator's rage over it. A problem the company will never fix. A lot of authors recycle their content often in unique ways. Adding better maps, new covers, bundling books together, price-cuts. Pretty much anything to put their book back in the NEW category. Free/.99 short stories between books helps to keep/generate interest. Just pick a character and write a little story about them, toss a cover on it and throw it out there. You just gave infinite magic to a whole bunch of people, and stuck them in new and unique situations. No way does that NOT cause nearly a dozen little stories to almost write themselves. You have demi-werewolves on hover bikes running around with flamethrowers for crying out loud.

    1. Give us a story from the side of the "Evil" guys.
Would love to hear about what the Unraveller's backstory is in more detail.

  3. Hey E,
Just wanted to say that your stories are fucking awesome and can't wait to read what you've got in store next.
I really like your take on multiple religions being real, with people able to actually, maybe, talk their god/s.
I read some of the comments on Amazon, don't listen to the wankers talking about no character development in Black Coven. You've set this story line up very well, and as I said, can't fucking wait for the next one.
By the way, do you have a tentative release date?
    Big fan,
    Ross

  4. Uh... Not to be a dick (me, sounding like a dick) or anything, butt. October approacheth and we've past the 6-8 week window possible for October. Take all the time you need to make the gorgeous fiction addiction that you make, but an update would be nice.

  5. Love the books so far and would very much like to hear an update on the next, also l love the idea of an Unraveller side story or what Cerise was up to while Daniel was off meting ice/fighting Narfing? or more on the details of the trip from Lanrest to Kozalin or can we please give Cerise her own version of grinder and just let her lose for a few chapters? I can only imagine how much fun she must be to write!

  7. Mr Brown, a suggestion: Claim you Goodreads author page and add the link to your Patreon in your "About this author". If you want to get to the $500 mark (I certainly do), there is no better place than a community of book lovers.
